Do I need to book a table?
No. Ford and Tea is walk-in only — there is no reservation system and no deposit. Tables are first come, first served. If we are full, leave your name at the counter and we will wave you in when a seat opens up.
Where exactly are you in Fulda?
Marktstraße 14, in the pedestrian zone of Fulda city center. Four minutes from the cathedral, ten minutes on foot from the Hauptbahnhof, and three minutes from Parkhaus Karlsplatz. Look for the green awning.
Can I bring a group?
Groups of up to 15 are welcome. For eight people or more, please call a day ahead on +49 661 987 6543 so we can bake enough and arrange the tables.
Is there vegan or gluten-free cake?
Always at least one of each: our vegan lemon and poppy seed loaf and a flourless chocolate torte are regulars, with seasonal extras alongside. Oat, soy and lactose-free milk are free of charge.
Can I work on my laptop?
Yes, especially in the quiet back room. There is free Wi-Fi and sockets at six seats. We only ask that you keep calls short and quiet during the busy 14:00–16:00 stretch.
Do you take cards?
Cards and cash, both from the first euro. Girocard, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work.
Are dogs allowed?
Happily. There is a water bowl by the door and a jar of dog biscuits behind the counter. Well-behaved dogs sometimes get a second one.
Is the café accessible?
The entrance is step-free from the pedestrian street and there is an accessible WC inside. Space for wheelchairs and prams is kept clear by the long table.
Can I buy your coffee beans or tea to take home?
Yes — house beans in 250 g and 1 kg bags, and tins of any of our 26 loose-leaf teas. We will grind beans to your brewing method while you wait.
Do you do whole cakes for birthdays?

Is there outdoor seating?
Sixteen seats on the terrace from around April to October, weather permitting. Blankets come out on the borderline days.
Can the café be hired privately?
Sunday evenings after 18:00 are available for private hire — birthdays, book launches, small company gatherings. Email hallo@fordandtea.de for details.
